Its nice to hear that the server should be coming backup soon. I dont know who is running it, or what's been decided about it, so i thought i'd ask. Is it going to have the same rules as the old one? Will cockpit always on be set to 0? one of my favorite things about the OC3 was that i could take a break and watch others play Via the outside views. ALso, will the  262 be banned? I love hopelessly trying to dogfight in thie plane, but if it's decided it should be banned, i can understand why. I've only ever seen about 10 other people use it to try and dogfight, the rest are just vulchers Sad

Thanks in advance!

We are currently in a heated discussion as to the settings for the OC3. It has been the topic of a lengthy debate. As it stands now, we will likely cycle the settings each week until we get a consensus. The first few weeks will likely be all planes and all years on very simple maps so that we can troubleshoot the server if any problems come up.Also in the planning stages is a rotating series of maps and planes by year starting with the Spanish Civil War and ending with the invasion of Berlin. We plan to use the new scripting to for an objective based mission map. Objectives we intend to include are:Lower ratios of pilots to planes to encourage bailing out and returning to base. Ground targets to place an emphasis on the protection of a city. For example, protecting the factories in Stalingrad from the German bombers. Or, destroy the tanks at point A. Planes restricted to time and place. This would allow us include the 262 with same year aircraft. And of course, easy settings for mindless hours of all aircraft bashing it out.  TX-KingsnakeWhite >+Commanding Officer
