Well men, here we are.
I just exited the OC3 after a good 45 minute spin in my A4 and I'm damn happy to say that it felt FANTASTIC to be in the seat again. Though I have no idea what the hell I'm doing or what the little red numbers in the corner of the screen mean, can't see out of the cockpit to save my life and am completely disoriented by all the fast moving dizzying objects shooting at me, I must say that the stick feels good in my hand, the pedals are loose and responsive and the staccato rap tap of machine gun fire is music to my ears.
I hadn't realized I missed it this much by any means, but now, after about 3 hours of total flying time last night and this morning, am pretty sure that I am an FB junkie again.
Keep a watchful eye peeled on the runway, I'm still clearly a disaster waiting to happen. While you're at it, better give me a wide berth in the air as well, my spray and pray sometimes covers a 180 degree spiraling stall induced arc and you might get tagged by accident.
TS is a no go for me, though my mic is hooked up and working properly. Hopefully we can get that worked out and get me back on comms here pretty quick.
Before I get out of here, let me say that it feels good to be back. I can't commit for sure to how much time I will have at the moment, but I expect to pluck around some every night for at least a few minutes.
Depending on how some real life related factors go, be on the lookout for an important announcement here in the near future.
Cuda, Bomblast and King, it was good to see you guys last night and this morning. I'll be back online late tonight but til then, check 6 and make sure to take off from a different base than I do. Chukar, I tried to say hi right as you came in earlier, but had to exit the game and take care of some things. S!
S~ TX, it's good to be home.
