after 1.1b I can join but can´t host, pls help

Hi there (and pls excuse my bad english),

after installing 1.1b I did the regedit (DOGFIGHT & COOPERATIVE) and can join games. But when I want to host a game, nobody is able to join. Everybody gets the "Timout" message... please help

p.s.: my IP is set correctly at the network page in setup

S~ StilgarThis appears to be a known issue with the patch at this time and UBI is working on it. So far to my knowledge no one in the community has come up with a fix...so I'm afraid you might be stuck for now. I was able to join and host after installing the upgrade...AFTER I did the regedit as instructed. This evening I was unable to join Ubi but finally was able to get into the lobby by going to the Ubi.com gaming community page and logging on there..then selecting IL2 FB. Was able to chat with TX-Zen and TX-Seeker for a bit.Tried to join the TX-OC3 server and after double clicking the server FB started here on my drive as normal...then just sat there waiting for game to start....and waited....and waited....  Then, UBi box poppes up and tells me that I have been disconnected and do I want to re-connect...Clicked YES...then the cycle starts over again.."Do you want to re-connect?"..YES...over and over and over...It's now 11:51PM CDT and I guess I am going to try it again Tuesday evening. Do we have to uninstall and then re-install the Ubi Gaming CLient?..if so, where is the download for the client to have handy for the re-install? I am running out of ideas here...."I didn´t find any download for the ubi-launcher. but after you deinstalled it you can reinstall ubi-launcher from the second CD, its a folder called "gameservice" or something like that. Installing ubi-launcher over existing seems not possible, first you have to deinstall it. and make sure all of it is gone after deinstallation. ubi-launcher leaves its folders and some files, you have to manually delete them also if you want everything gone.cheers

Thanks, I'll try that method. I deleted the Ubi Game Service the other night when I was re-installing IL2.Seems that if there is a version of IL2 onboard the box it will force you to delete the previous version in order to install from the CD...or so it prompted. In the process UBI Game Service was also deleted.I had to find a work around and was able to get it back on the machine...but I noticed that on the F: drive where I have both FB and IL2 that there is no Ubi Soft folder..upon further investigetion I find that the folder is only named core..which I thought was the sub folder under Ubi Soft (the game service). I'll delete again and try installing off the CD as that might take care of the issues I am having in the FB lobby with not being able to turn on "details"..which show pings to games and such.....Thanks....just my two cents worth..Rocky...TX-CUDA on UBITX-CUDA on HyperLobby
