Playing Black Hawk Down in the wee hours of this morning and screen turns totally green. WTF
??
Leave the game and everything seems to be ok. Back into game. Instant Green screen. Figure new drivers were causing problems so leave game to re-install drivers( 45.23 ).
Desktop has colored bands across it now.
Re-install..same screwed-up screen.
Put ti-4600 back in and everything is fine. Uh-oh..............
Put 5900 in...Black screen..nada..zip.
Card must be returned to MANUFACTURER ..not where I bought it.
Called Albatron a few ago. Yup. ......
" Here's your RMA number..."
"Please be advised that the turnaround time is anywhere between 2 to 10 weeks"
But wait it gets BETTER... found out ( by reading CLOSER this time to the ad where I bought it..
Engine clock : 410 MHZ ( Ultra is 450.. albatron now calls theirs a TURBO since they are running it at lower clock speeds )
Call where I bought it....they have already changed the ad to read TURBO not ULTRA because of other callers.....
I can tell today is going to be one of those days ......
LMMFAO : allstarshop just called me to give me THEIR RMA number. Seems they are having a change of heart and letting me swap it out ( after they test it ).
God is just screwing with me now........
