Well, the P-47 actually had an ashtray in it as well, so for even more immersion, I planted one in mine too.

I took some progressive pictures when I first got the monitor installed to show some of the flexibility and just how many options could be employed with it. At native 1920x1200, I can also watch true HD on it (but I don't very often since I use the PS3 and 42" LCD for that). The monitor mount was actually an easier application than the articulating keyboard arm and I ended up find that on ebay once I had researched the exact one I wanted to use. I got it at a greatly reduced price, but it was still a bit pricey. Nonetheless, I really like the comfort of the ratched seat and the ergonomic positioning of my controllers, keyboard and monitor. It works well for me.
p.s. The headphones on the back of the seat are some Altec-Lansing corded phones I was experimenting with for my TV before deciding whether or not to plonk down 2 bills for some wireless ones...which I haven't. They have nothing to do with my pit setup. My Sennheisers are sitting on top of the pc case.
