Interesting. I wondered how long it would be before someone actually brought something to market that actually directly competes with the TIR and while this rig looks to be targeted more for the "budget-oriented" crowd, there's no reason not to look into it further if you're in the market for head-tracking hardware.
I thought it interesting that the reviewer did a section on a direct comparison with TIR, yet admitted he didn't own TIR. hmmm.

Either way, competition is usually only a good thing for the consumer.
